Booking & payment
How do I book a tour?
Choose a tour, pick your date, number of travellers and pickup, then send the request to us on WhatsApp or by email. We confirm availability, meeting time and details — usually within minutes during the day.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a 10% deposit confirms your booking. We send the deposit details with your confirmation.
How do I pay the rest?
The balance is paid in cash — Vietnamese dong (VND) or US dollars (USD) — on the day of the tour.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your departure time. Please let us know as early as possible if your plans change.
How far in advance should I book?
A day or two ahead is usually fine, but we recommend booking earlier for weekends, Vietnamese public holidays and the rice harvest season (late August–September).
Are prices per person?
Yes. Prices are per person in US dollars, with an approximate amount in Vietnamese dong. Your confirmed total is sent with your booking.
Do you offer private or custom tours?
Every Jeep is already private for your group. For custom routes (for example Sin Chai, Ta Phin or a longer trek), message us with your ideas and dates.
Children & families
How much do children pay?
Children aged 5–8 pay 75% of the adult price. Children under 5 join free. From age 9, the adult price applies.
Which tour is best for families?
The Jeep tours are the most comfortable choice for families: the Jeep is private for your group, and walking is limited to short, easy sections.
Can young children join the motorbike tours?
Please contact us before booking with young children so we can advise on the safest option. In most cases we recommend a Jeep tour for small children.
Are the tours suitable for older travellers?
Yes — the Jeep tours involve only short walks. Please tell us about any mobility needs so we can advise.
On the day
Where do tours start?
Every tour starts and ends at Sapa Stone Church in the centre of Sapa Town. Please arrive 10 minutes before departure. We send the exact meeting spot and your guide’s contact with your confirmation.
Do you offer hotel pickup?
Yes, hotel pickup in Sapa town centre is available on request. Add your hotel name when you book.
What time do tours depart?
Half-day tours depart at 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM and last about 4–4.5 hours. Full-day tours depart at 8:00 AM and return at around 4:30 PM.
What should I bring?
A warm layer, a light rain jacket, comfortable closed shoes, sunscreen, a camera and some cash (VND) for tickets not included, drinks and souvenirs. It is noticeably colder on O Quy Ho Pass than in town.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is included on both full-day tours (drinks with lunch are extra). Half-day tours include coffee or water as listed on each tour page, but not lunch.
Which entrance tickets are included?
The Silver Waterfall ticket is included on every tour that visits it. Tickets for Cat Cat Village, Moana and Rong May Glass Bridge are not included and are paid on the day — each tour page lists exactly what is included.
What happens if it rains?
Tours run in light rain and mist. If conditions are unsafe (storms, landslides or road closures), we change the route, move your tour to another time or give you a full refund.
Do I need to tip?
Tips are not included and are always optional. If you enjoyed your day, a tip for your guide, driver or rider is very much appreciated.
Jeep & motorbike tours
Do I need a licence for the motorbike tours?
No. You ride as a passenger behind a professional local female rider. No riding experience is needed.
Is the motorbike tour safe?
Our riders are experienced on Sapa’s mountain roads and ride at a comfortable pace. Helmets are provided and must be worn. Let us know about any back, neck or health concerns before booking.
How many people fit in a Jeep?
Each open-air Jeep takes 2–6 guests and is private for your group. Larger groups travel in several Jeeps together.
I am travelling alone. Which tour should I choose?
The motorbike tours are ideal for solo travellers because each guest has their own rider. For a Jeep tour, message us and we will check the options for your date.
Is the Jeep really open-air?
Yes — our Army Jeeps are open-top, so you feel the mountain air and get unobstructed views. Bring a warm, windproof layer, especially in winter.
About Sapa
When is the best time to visit Sapa?
March–May and September–November bring the clearest weather. The rice terraces are water-filled in April–May, green in summer and golden in September.
How do I get to Sapa from Hanoi?
Limousine vans and sleeper buses take roughly 5–6 hours on the expressway. Night trains run from Hanoi to Lao Cai station, about an hour by road from Sapa.
How many days should I spend in Sapa?
Two to three days is ideal. With one day, a full-day tour covers both Muong Hoa Valley and O Quy Ho Pass.
